Consultation and Vision
We listen to how you want to use the space, look at the site, and establish what is realistic on your ground and within your budget.

New Orleans, Louisiana
Decks, outdoor kitchens, patios, pergolas and sunrooms, drawn and built by the same people, so nothing gets lost between the plan and the pour.
Work and Services
We build five kinds of outdoor space, and we design as well as install, so one team carries a project from the first sketch to the last fastener. Each one is drawn around how your household actually uses the yard rather than fitted from a catalogue.

A level, usable surface where the ground will not cooperate. We work through wood against composite, weigh the upkeep each needs in this climate, and build to code.

Somewhere you cook and host rather than pass through. Layout first, then appliances, then the materials and finishes that survive being outdoors.

The most flexible surface in a New Orleans yard and the one most projects are built around. We assess the site, design to it, then talk through material and cost together.

Shade and a defined spot in the yard without closing it in. Both suit a climate where the outdoor season never really ends, and both can be drawn to match the house.

The outdoors brought in on the days heat, rain or pests make the yard unpleasant. We build three-season and four-season rooms, and which suits you depends on how much of the year you want it.

Our Work, Moving
It looks like a space being used rather than photographed. The reel runs through finished decks, outdoor kitchens, patios, pergolas and sunrooms we have built across Greater New Orleans, cut so you can see the materials, the joinery and the light at the hour people actually sit outside.

About Us
The drawing and the build being one responsibility. When the same team sets the levels, the drainage and the materials and then installs them, nothing is handed over half understood, and the details that decide whether a structure survives this climate do not fall between two companies.

Materials
Material choice matters more here than in most of the country. Sustained humidity, heavy rain and a long hot season all work on a structure at once, so we weigh each option on maintenance and durability in this specific climate, not on how it performs somewhere drier.
| Deciding factor | Wood | Composite |
|---|---|---|
| Upkeep in heat and humidity | Needs regular attention to stay sealed and sound through a long hot season. | Built to need less routine care, which is why many households here ask for it first. |
| How it looks in five years | Weathers and changes character. Some homeowners want exactly that. | Holds its finish more consistently over the same stretch. |
| Where the money goes | Less at install, more spread across the years you own it. | More at install, less handed back to you in maintenance. |
| What we handle either way | Drainage, levels and detailing settled at design stage, and built to code. | Same. The structure underneath a deck matters more than the surface on top. |
Either material, the same groundwork. Gulf South weather is a design constraint rather than an afterthought. It shapes how a structure is anchored, drained and finished, which is why local experience counts for more here than a national catalogue does.

Cost
Cost comes down to size, material, site conditions and how much of the structure has to be built up rather than laid down. We give a free estimate on every service after a site assessment, because a figure quoted before anyone has seen the ground is a guess rather than a price.
Square footage, material grade, and whether the site needs grading, footings or drainage work before anything is built. An outdoor kitchen adds plumbing and electrical to that list.
A site assessment is how the number gets accurate. We do not charge for it, and there is no obligation attached.
How We Work
Three stages, in the same order on a small patio and on a full outdoor kitchen. Each one has to close before the next opens, so there is never a week where nobody can tell you what is happening in the yard or what happens next.
We listen to how you want to use the space, look at the site, and establish what is realistic on your ground and within your budget.
The space is drawn, materials are chosen, and the plan is agreed before any work starts. Changes are far cheaper on paper than in place.
The build runs to the agreed design, with the detailing checked as it goes rather than at the end.
Timeline
A schedule is set at design stage and agreed before the first delivery arrives, so you know which weeks the yard is a work site and which it is not. What moves that schedule is the structure itself, what the ground needs first, and the weather window we are building into.
A paver patio is a different job from a four-season sunroom. Framing, footings and a conditioned envelope each add their own stages, and each stage has to finish before the next begins.
Grading, footings and drainage all happen before anything visible goes up. A site that needs them adds time at the front of the job rather than the end.
Concrete, adhesives and finishes all care about rain and heat. We plan around the season rather than fighting it, which is usually faster than racing it.
Licensed
A licence is the simplest check a homeowner can make before letting anyone build a structure on their property. We hold Louisiana Residential Licence #890459 and Commercial Licence #3667, which means the same company can take on a backyard deck and a commercial courtyard.
It says the company is registered to do the work at the scale it is quoting. Deck framing, footings and an outdoor kitchen’s plumbing and electrical are structural and utility work, not decoration.
Holding both means we can build for a homeowner and for a business without handing the job to someone else halfway through.

Guides
We write about the things that actually decide how an outdoor project turns out in this climate: humidity-resistant materials, mosquito-resistant patio design, outdoor kitchen plumbing, decking comparisons and building for storm season. The most recent guides sit below, and all of them are written for New Orleans conditions rather than for anywhere.
Questions
The things New Orleans homeowners ask us most, before a first consultation.
Yes. We are a design and build company, so the same team draws the space and installs it. That means the person who planned the drainage, the levels and the material choices is the one accountable for how they come out on site.
We build outdoor home decks, outdoor kitchens, patios, pergolas and gazebos, and sunrooms. Each is designed for the site rather than fitted from a standard plan, and all five are available across our full service area.
Yes. We offer free estimates on all services, and a free consultation to go with it. A site assessment is how an estimate becomes accurate, so there is no charge and no obligation for that visit.
There is no single answer, because wood and composite trade off differently on cost, appearance and upkeep. What matters here is how each holds up under sustained humidity and heat, and we compare both against your budget and how much maintenance you want.
Yes. We serve 13 surrounding communities alongside New Orleans, including Metairie, Kenner, Mandeville, Covington, Slidell, Baton Rouge and Hammond. The full list is on our service areas page.
A three-season room is built for comfortable weather and is not conditioned for the coldest or hottest stretches. A four-season room is built and insulated for year-round use. Which one suits you depends on how much of the year you plan to spend in it.
A pergola is an open structure with a slatted roof that filters sunlight rather than blocking it. A gazebo is fully roofed and usually freestanding, giving complete cover. Both define a spot in the yard, but they handle sun and rain differently.
Call us or request a free estimate, and we will arrange a consultation. We look at the site, talk through how you want to use it, and give you a design and a price before any work begins.
